Phentermine is the general moniker for Adipex. Phentermine should be administered at least one hour before eating, always on an empty stomach. Because Phentermine is a medication that lasts a long time, it must be swallowed in its entirety. It should not be crushed or chewed; because doing so can hamper its efficiency and could cause an increase in side effects. You should not take a dose at night time because it may cause insomnia.
Phentermine should be taken only as prescribed and should not be taken longer than directed. It is most commonly prescribed for 8-12 weeks. It is not recommended that it be used in combination with other appetite suppression prescriptions. Your physician should be consulted before using Phentermine.
